Cockgate: activists demand Mendonça's punishment

 

The demonstration organized by the Fórum Nacional de Proteção Animal, a national coalition for animal protection, gathered activists at the front door of the Federal Justice building in São Paulo demanding Mr. Duda Mendonça and other involved are punished.

The participants - some of them dressed as roosters - showed protesting banners, urging Brazilian Environmental Law is followed and cockfights definitively banned.

ARCA Brasil's Marco Ciampi was there and remembered the infamous episode was covered worldwide and stirs up violence in the society.
