The 2nd edition of Clinical Veterinary Professional – Social Responsibility and Animal Well-Being seminar, organized by ARCA Brasil – Humanitarian Association for Animal Protection and Well-Being, presents as its central theme "Professional Growth and Social Activity: Recipe for Success"
The seminar takes place during Conpavepa, the most important veterinary
medicine congress in the country, and the 5th Pet South America, the
largest pet market fair in South America. Its main goal is to build
a bridge for veterinary professionals to become aware of a new moment
in our history, when social responsibility and commitment to collective
well-being are increasingly being promoted as important values. Developed
in partnership with the National Association of Clinical Veterinarians
of Small Animals (ANCLIVEPA), the seminar targets faculty members
and professionals and will be supported by several related organizations
and companies.
In addition to the essential discussion about the role of veterinary professionals in important issues such as the population control of cats and dogs, the 2005 seminar will bring to the forum a range of more polemic topics:
Interesting cases – like the stories of veterinary professionals who prospered thanks to unique actions for the promotion of the well-being of animals and society – will be presented as well.
The remarkable results achieved on the seminar’s first edition, in 2004, show that it is possible for different groups to gather forces with benefits to all: professionals, society and animals.
